These terms and conditions (“Advertising Terms & Conditions“) and any other terms and conditions referred to in the Advertising Terms & Conditions shall apply to the use of the Website by any advertiser on SportsJobs.ie
1. General Terms
Use of the Website constitutes your acceptance of the Advertising Terms & Conditions which take effect on the date which you first use the Website. We reserve the right to update the Advertising Terms & Conditions at any time without notice to you. Users are responsible for reviewing regularly information posted online to obtain timely notice of such changes. Your continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the Advertising Terms & Conditions as modified by the posted changes.
SportsJobs.ie agrees to use reasonable endeavours to perform the services that it promotes, to advertise vacancies on the Web Site for individuals to view.
- As an advertiser you agree that you are solely responsible for the form, content and accuracy of any information in any job posting.
- You will only submit content that is true and not in any respect inaccurate, misleading deceptive or likely to mislead or deceive.
- Any and all Job advertisements that you submit shall relate to specific and genuine job opportunities that were available at the time of the posting.
- When for any reason the job opportunity becomes unavailable you agree to immediately request SportsJobs.ie to delete the posting from the SportsJobs.ie site.
- SportsJobs.ie reserve the right to remove temporarily or permanently any content which we, in our sole discretion consider to be of an unsatisfactory standard for whatever reason.
- You accept that certain information is required to be completed in order for your posting to be published on the site. You agree to provide such information where requested.
- You will ensure that all content complies with all applicable laws.
- SportsJobs.ie shall be entitled to use the Employer’s logo and any other necessary intellectual property of the Advertiser in so far as the use thereof is required for SportsJobs.ie to provide the Service for the Advertiser.
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms for job postings are set out in our Employers section of the website and may be updated from time to time.
By using this site or by returning the job posting confirmation you are agreeing to our payment terms. It should be noted that continued use of this site is contingent on payment terms being strictly adhered to.
Invoices are issued once your job posting goes live on the site. Payment is due within 14 days of the date of issue of the invoice.
Failure to adhere to terms will result in:
- If the jobs posting still has days to run, postings being deleted from the site.
- If following a second request for payment invoice remain unpaid, unpaid invoices will be handed to our legal agents to pursue collection.
If the website is unavailable to you through operating difficulties on our part for more than 7 working days then a pro rata refund of the appropriate fee shall be made by adjusting the next invoice accordingly.
5. Unlawful & prohibited Use
You agree that you will not:
5.1 Use the Website in a way that may cause it to be interrupted, damaged, rendered less efficient or such that the effectiveness or functionality of the Website is in any way impaired.
5.2 Access or attempt to access any part of the Website that you are not authorised to access and you will not penetrate or attempt to penetrate Website security measures.
5.3 Use the Website (or any part of the Website) for any illegal purpose or in any way that may lead to the encouragement, procurement or carrying out of any criminal activity.
5.4 Upload, transmit or otherwise disseminate through the Website:
5.4.1 Any material which is defamatory, offensive, or of an obscene, vulgar, indecent or menacing character, or that may cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety, or have the effect of being harassing, threatening, abusive or hateful or that may otherwise degrade or intimidate an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age or disability; or
5.4.2 Any material which is copyrighted (unless you are the copyright owner or have permission of the copyright owner to post it), or reveals trade secrets (unless you own them or have permission of the owner) or infringes on any other intellectual property rights of others or on the privacy or publicity rights of others.

The names, images and logos identifying SportsJobs.ie or third parties and their products and services are proprietary marks of SportsJobs.ie and/or third parties.
While using the Website you may access third party websites though links. Such third party websites are not under our control and we are not responsible for the availability of such websites or their contents.
7.2 Any links provided on the Website are provided for your interest or convenience only and do not represent or imply any promotion or endorsement by SportsJobs.ie of such linked websites and we cannot be held liable for any loss or damage which may arise from use of such third party websites or contracts entered into resulting from the use of such third party websites.
7.3 You acknowledge that the use of such third party websites is governed by the terms and conditions of use applicable to such websites.

You assume complete responsibility for, and for all risk of loss resulting from, your downloading and/or using of, or referring to or relying on, materials, software, or any other information obtained from your use of this website. These Advertising Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.
